1. Volunteer at an Event
Check out our homepage for all our upcoming volunteer events. Registering is easy, just click on an event that you're interested in, fill in your info, and add it to your calendar. No membership fee, no minimum commitment. It's that easy. We'll see you at the event.
2. Sign Up for the YAVA Weekly
The Weekly is YAVA's newsletter that goes out every Wednesday. It's a part digest of the next few week's volunteer events, part exclusive source of events that other Non-Profits and our friends are having, and part source of exclusive member only benefits!
We won't distribute your email address to anyone, period.
3. Sponsor YAVA
At this time, we're looking for sponsors to help us cover operating costs, fund expansion and member retention. If you're interested in making a donation, either monetary or in-kind, please contact yava@yavaonline.org.
4. Become an Event Leader
Have you been volunteering with YAVA for a while? Interested in taking on a little bit more responsibility? It sounds like you might want to become an Event Leader for YAVA! Event Leaders are essentially the face and sales force of the organization. They assist in event day logistics as well and interact with the volunteers so that everyone leaves with a good understanding of and positive with YAVA and with the relevant volunteer organization.
