YAVA - Connecting People Through Volunteering

The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE, pronounced “nifty”) teaches entrepreneurship to young people from low-income communities to enhance their economic productivity by improving their business, academic, and life skills.  The New England Division of NFTE will reach over 1,400 youth this year through programs in high schools and community based organizations.

NFTE is currently looking for volunteers to serve a variety of roles.  Guest Speakers are needed to speak about entrepreneurship and/or business-related topics.  Business Plan Coaches are needed to work one-on-one with students while they are writing their business plans.  Alumni Business Mentors are needed to work with alumni of NFTE who are interested in starting or growing their business.
